{"id":14443,"date":"2022-11-24T15:40:14","date_gmt":"2022-11-24T15:40:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.goodenergy.co.uk\/?page_id=14443"},"modified":"2025-11-06T09:15:55","modified_gmt":"2025-11-06T09:15:55","slug":"sign-up-to-our-priority-services-register","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.goodenergy.co.uk\/sign-up-to-our-priority-services-register\/","title":{"rendered":"Sign up to our Priority Services Register"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading alignwide has-teal-background-color has-background\">We can offer additional help for those that might need extra support to look after their energy account.&nbsp;<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"am-i-eligible-for-priority-services-register\" class=\"wp-block-heading alignwide is-style-heading-has-accent\">Am I eligible for Priority Services Register?&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"alignleft has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>You can register if you:\u202f\u202f&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list alignleft\">\n<li class=\"is--inner-block\">Are disabled, have a chronic illness or long-term health condition&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"is--inner-block\">Have a visual or hearing impairment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"is--inner-block\">Are of pensionable age\u202f&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"is--inner-block\">Are pregnant or have children aged five\u00a0and under<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"is--inner-block\">Need temporary support \u2013 for example, when recovering from an operation or injury\u202f&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"is--inner-block\">Have a mental health condition\u202f&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"is--inner-block\">Have extra communication needs (for example, you don&#8217;t speak or read English fluently)&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"what-does-the-priority-services-register-offer\" class=\"wp-block-heading alignwide is-style-heading-has-accent\">What does the Priority Services Register offer?&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"alignleft has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Nominate a trusted person to help you with your account<\/strong>&nbsp;<br><br>If you give us permission, we can send your energy statements to a relative, friend or carer\u2019s address. You\u2019ll need their permission first and they\u2019ll have to sign our Priority Services Register form as well. Please remember, as the account holder you\u2019ll still be responsible for paying for your energy.&nbsp;<br><br><strong>Receive your bills in a format that\u2019s better for you<\/strong>&nbsp;<br><br>You can ask to receive your energy statements in an alternative format, such as large print or Braille.&nbsp;<br><br><strong>Have your meter read for you<\/strong>&nbsp;<br><br>If you\u2019re not able to read your energy meter, we can arrange for an engineer to read it for you. For complete peace of mind, you can set up a password for them to use, so you know they\u2019re visiting from Good Energy.&nbsp;<br><br><strong>Get a free annual gas safety check<\/strong> <strong>if you receive means tested benefits<\/strong><br><br>Make sure your gas appliances and fittings are working safely, with a free annual check from a Gas Safe Registered engineer.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"alignleft has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>If you have a smart prepayment meter, you may be eligible for a credit meter or have your smart meter set to never disconnect even if your balance reduces to below zero if you have or someone permanently residing at your property has one or more of the vulnerabilities listed below:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list alignleft\">\n<li class=\"is--inner-block\">Medical reasons for needing a continuous supply of energy.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"is--inner-block\">Are aged 75 or above.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"is--inner-block\">Chronic or severe or terminal illness.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"is--inner-block\">Developmental, mental or serious medical condition.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"is--inner-block\">Have children aged five years old and under.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"is--inner-block\">Temporary situations such as pregnancy, bereavement, post-hospital recovery or householders under 18 years of age.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading alignwide has-text-align-left is-style-heading-has-accent\" id=\"apply\">Apply for Priority Services Register<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns alignwide has-teal-background-color has-background is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-8f761849 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow is--inner-block\">\n<p class=\"is--inner-block wp-block-paragraph\">You can now apply for the Priority Services Register through the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/account.goodenergy.co.uk\/priority-services-register\">Good Energy online account<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is--inner-block wp-block-paragraph\">Alternatively, download and complete <a href=\"https:\/\/www.goodenergy.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/GE20-118-Priority-services-form-October-2022.pdf\"><strong>this registration<\/strong><\/a>\u202fform, then post it to\u202f<strong>Good Energy, Monkton Park Offices, Monkton Park, Chippenham, SN15 1GH<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;<br><br>You can also freephone <strong><a href=\"tel:0345%20034%202400\">0800 254 0022<\/a><\/strong> to speak to a member of the team.
